Two young KY mtneers are both in love with Virginia Dare. One frames his rival for murder and thereby gets Virginia for himself. All three end up in New York City, where the bad mtneer turns in the unjustly framed mtneer for the murder. The bad mtneer repents when he sees the face of the good mtneer's child, and at the last moment the trial of the good mtneer is interrupted and all is put right.
